Pre-NGE swg v's DAoC OK?

Hi all,

While looking for a new game to replace you know what, i have been recommended DAoC. From what i heard, this could be the one (lets hope). Anyway, i thought to start this thread to throw in comparisons as i go, and anyone who wants to chip in, is more than welcome. More once it arrives. image

    Too few, but pre-NGE SWG, GW and MxO
     
    What do you like from a mmorpg?
    Community, pve/pvp grouped and solo, crafting  and a reasonable amount of difficulty and intricacy. Also the RP element and interaction.
    What do you hate about mmorpgs?
    Well lack of the above, i was never bored of SWG until you know what, I had an MCM MBH nov pistolier and an armorsmith. GW is fun and pretty, but is yet to grab me. I want to create a character and a part of his/her enviroment. And enjoy the game with some good people that these games tend to have plenty of.
