Lolicon is very hard to understand in western culture, it is common in Asia, and it has nothing to do with pedophilia. That is the most common misconception in the west.

As an experiment, I've ran a search on several erotic artwork sites for Tera Online and for Dungeon Fighter Online fan art (two games which allow you to play as a loli character) and despite how those two games feature many extremely sexualized adult women in scantily clad costumes, the vast majority of the art is indeed pedophile pornographic depictions of childish characters in comparison to the amount of art for the other more "mature" women (which is somewhat odd in Dungeon Fighter Online's case since their loli character in official artwork is for the most part NOT sexualized compared to the other women, yet the artists love to draw hentai of her the most). Therefore I am inclined to disagree with you.
