Watch a few videos on youtube for DFO or Dragon Nest, both have really fun over the top skills (For instance, the nen master in dfo has an ability where you spawn flowers, feed them nen energy (from attacks) and then they explode and hit everything on the screen lol

although the title that i am about to say is not even released yet, but if you were a huge Ragnarok player, then pray that Tree of Savior will release end of this year at least, or early next year,

it is probably one of the best upcoming MMO that gives you the vibe on old isometric MMO, but wih much much better graphics, game play and possibly, new set of good community.

    Blade and souls
    Tera

Have you tried Wakfu?  There aren't that many games that are actually based on an anime... well I don't know that it's technically an anime, but fairly close.

It has turn based combat and isometric view so not for everyone, but as far as being true to anime style?  I don't think you could get closer.

Wakfu is okay, but not a lot of people will like the turn based.

Revelations is great despite the Chinese language barrier.

I have a character on the first server in third row

and one in the third server from the third row

    Both named Utena.

It looks great and runs smoothly despite running at 20 fps O.o

Pretty much beta but quests are fun :D

& DAT movement & customization. If they go with optimization in the next betabuilds I see a lot of fun and mechanics with this kind of movement :O. You're really free :)

I love revelation online, but playing it outside China is VERY laggy even with a VPN (FlyVPN).

It has the same combat as Tera.

Pretty sure the show is based on the game.  The original game; Dofus, is pretty old.  Wakfu is kinda like the new version of it, in the same world/setting.

Hadn't heard of it, looked it up.

Looks almost exactly like blade and soul.  Am I missing something? O.o

Ooh Wakfu is based on an anime, i'll go watch it first.

Revelations is WAY BETTER (in this kind of MMO)

I preferred Eden Eternal over Aura Kingdom. (if you're still looking for cute and "really" anime-styled games, that is)

It's going to be hard (if not impossible) to find an anime mmo with "continuous development" instead of the occasional expansion patch. The genre is a bit lacking (in terms of selection) nowadays.

Anyways, I found Eden Eternal to have more substance, and be less auto-everything. There is a lot to do in the game, which encourages you to take your time instead of rushing to the level cap. This will keep you occupied for the long term. If you are younger (not well into your twenties), then consider that bonus points as you'll have a much easier time of connecting with good company.

i'm well into my twenties but prefer that gamestyle.

Go from point a to b to get exp is weird :P

    Waiting for Dragomon Hunter now.
    & Peria chronicles

I guess those two really only fit my criteria. Chinese/Korean games too gritty, not much animestyle lol

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

Aura Kingdom was full of bots spamming everywhere the last time I logged in. Surprised nobody recommend the newest anime mmo Dragomon Hunter. I've play a little and so far it seems good. The publisher also released a statement about combating bots, if it is successful I might play DH longer.
  • kenpokillerkenpokiller Member UncommonPosts: 321
meh Dragomon hunter just felt like the rest of those Korea MMO things, all the same
I had my hopes up tho :p
