Bioware has revealed a brand new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition that is scheduled to be released on August 11th. Called The Descent, the DLC takes the Inquisitor and party into the Deep Roads to confront the Darkspawn.

Explore the legendary Deep Roads, but ensure that you come prepared. A perilous journey awaits underground, where vast, darkspawn-infested caverns will challenge the Inquisition like never before.

I remember how excited I was about this game pre-release.

And how great I actually thought it was, the first hours in.

And how quickly I just couldn't bring myself to log in anymore.

And how dated, clunky and dated it now feels in comparison to Witcher 3.

But interesting to see that there is still content being developed for it, so I guess the public opinion of this game is still rather high?

I beat this game and just didn't look back, did a lot of the base content like tons of side stuff I didn't need to do.  I've no interest in buying any DLC for it though.

Cmon EA, just really all DLC you have planned, so i can finally play it. I don't like returning to a game i already finished for 2 hours of content or something like that, and i don't replay most games, so i either miss out or have to wait until they are done.

Which is another disadvantage of all these DLC. We have zero day DLC, but it takes two years until the last is released so you actually have all the content.

I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore

Another DLC?!!? Please just work on making number 4 with a bearable combat system and all around improvements. I just can't stomach playing this game, the one thing Bioware is good at, the story, was the only enjoyable part for me. In comparison to Witcher 3, this game looks like it should of released 5 years ago.

Well when I get my new computer with Win10, maybe this game and the DLC can be purchased at a good discount.

OMG it's not Witcher therefore it sucks.

Here's an idea, go frolic in your Witcher and leave DA alone??? Also Log in? What ? You must mean multiplayer?! I love how all negative feedback on this series is from Witcher fans, you guys make me want to never ever, ever buy The Witcher.

Anyway.... It's nive to have a dlc that will be scaled to whatever level you are and can play anytime after Skyhold. Seeing the deep roads in Inquisition graphics should be intense. However I'm hoping that if there's one more DLC or two it comes post game, or hey an Awakenings style of expansion would be nice.

    • the boredom took over before Witcher 3 was even released; it just made that game look 5 years old when it released to top it off
    • it uses Origin - you have to log in to play, even in single player
    • I left this game alone long ago
    • you are not the brightest one, are you?
