Alternate Advancement Games

Hi Gang,

So one of the end game systems I love more than anything is a type of continuous character advancement. End game raiding for gear bores me like no other (if that's the ONLY thing to do). I am looking for a game that won't allow me to cap out. I don't care about graphics or how old it is, only thing that matters to me is continuous advancement.

Examples of this would be Everquest with AA's, Rift with Planar Attunement and Nodiatis (which i'm sure not many know about). All these games it would take years to max it out.

Seems like every new mmo that comes out is a level cap with only gear to look forward to...

Thank you all for the suggestions! =)

I don't like Eve's system since you gain the same amount of exp whether playing or not... Plus I don't really care for space simulations. I thank you for the suggestion though.
