World of Warcraft: Legendary to Show Off Warcraft Movie Footage at Comic-Con

Legendary will be hosting a special panel during the San Diego Comic-Con on July 11th to show off several of its upcoming films. Most notable for our readers is the inclusion of the "Warcraft" movie that is scheduled for release in 2016.

Universal has set “Warcraft,” based on the videogame series of the same name, for release on June 10, 2016. Duncan Jones is directing from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Charles Leavitt. The film stars Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell and Rob Kazinsky.

    Not going to lie even though I haven't played mop or wod, I will probably watch this.

    I'm not sure cliche driven cheesy (i think wow story lines are excellent btw) gaming storylines have translate well to the movies, should be interesting considering the average age of a woe gamer :p. now if if was verybdark and lovecraftian with old gods - thet would be interesting!

    It's the time when the orcs first come to azeroth after they come from the dark portal. So it's long before MOP , WOD , BC or WOTLK happened.
