Honestly wasn't planning on even trying this game but I will now that I got a key. First 5 minutes in and it isn't HORRIBLE but it isn't anything really all that different. Feels relatively fluid for an Areia game.

Good site for info on skill selection with video of every skill. Its pretty easy to choose a skill you find you dont really like..

Not to bad so far, PVE is really good from what i can see so far. The rest so far is the same as any other mmo. PVE is where it shines.

I don't know of any other mmo that has a pvp system like Echo Of Soul. If you want open pvp join a Hostile Clan and if you don't want open pvp join a Peace Clan. Up to 10 clans can form an alliance and pve clans can ally with pvp clans. No server channels as far as I know so everybody plays in the same world. When this game goes live the pvp will be everywhere.

Actually there is a Chinese MMORPG which allow players to select whether they want to be PvE or PvP right from the beginning during character creation. PvE and PvP players alike play in the same server but pick a different quest path offering different rewards relevant to their style of play.

Sounds interesting. Can those players change from PVP to PVE at any time or are they stuck with what they picked at character creation?

sexy character models arent enough. Just finished the tutorial and couldnt keep going... god this is generic at best. Maybe ill play a bit more tomorrow to see how the post tutorial feels (i suspect it will be just the same).

Thanks for the offer (still 2100 keys left), but I'll pass. It's hosted by Aeria and that already tells me more than enough...

    This game is garbage.

anyone knows how to enable sli in eos?
  • agnt84agnt84 Member UncommonPosts: 8

At least the game is honest from the start. At the moment you log in you are able to spot P2W from the login rewards(Dungeon reset ticket)

Other then that, its nothing but mediocre tab-target mmo with pervert anime art style and extreme cash shop.

Move along nothing to see here.

just tried it out, that has to be the 10000th wow clone or something
  • BrakhBrakh Member UncommonPosts: 29
Another generic Asian style MMO. Nice grapics, dull quest hub grinder, brainless mob AI in open areas, tab targeting combat, (not sure about other classes but tried berserk and) need to stay still to use skills, sadly lots of potential for P2W, cash shop. These are my thoughts after 2h, cannot say anything about end game.

    game  errors  ?
  • VexiusxVexiusx Member UncommonPosts: 212
Been playing this game longer now, must say weapons/armor can look really sick quests are as you expect from a grinding game not bad but not that exciting either. I will say again that PVE is where this game shines. For a F2P game i will be sticking to this game for quite a while. I saw someone complain about the cashshop and thats bullshit most things are cosmetic and unless you plan on spending thousands of euro's you won't get a real gear advantage above people who really do PVE content.

    Thanks for the key.

Tried it for a few hours today. Animations and combat are done competently for a game like this.

Other than that, it's the same old quest grinder with highly linear zones and a large amount of instancing.

Added minus: it installs like 4 secondary programs and platforms on your computer. Revo uninstall to the rescue.

Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!

Okay -- now you have scared me about the beta...

    Four secondary programs, eh?

Do you have the option of not installing them, and what are they // their purpose // etc.

Good to see some enjoy the game like I do. I have tried Beserker / Protector, Assassin / Duelist and now trying Stormguard / Earthguard.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's just the usual annoying practices these F2P studios employ.

I already uninstalled the game and associated stuff so can't remember.

    But it was like:

*Punkbuster anti cheat (they all do that)

    *Aeria games seperate platform

*Akamai network something thingy. Not sure what the point of this is, but it needs to be running for the game to run.

    *The game itself.

They're not really malware, it's just that they all want to turn on their service when you start up your pc. Just install Revo uninstaller and throw them all off once you're done with it; or make sure to disable all associated startup programs / services if you continue to play it.
