    No secrets anymore. Ha!

No one here really seems to understand Destiny at all.

The next piece of the big picture will be revealed at E3 most likely. Just a short month away. It will almost certainly be available this Fall.

The original game and first two DLC are just the beginning. Chapter 1 of the main story, and then some side stories about a broken Guardian's crusade against a Hive God, and a mad Queen's revenge on the Fallen who betrayed her people.

We'll see where the story goes - but I certainly foresee that Chapter 2 will be quite interesting. We've awoken in the Light, broken our terrestrial bonds and taken the fight to the minions of the Darkness. We've had victories, regained lost ground and knowledge, we've put an end to the Hive's plans on the moon, as well as the Vex's plans against the Traveler. We've made new allies.

    But the Darkness is returning.

Who is the Stranger? What did we really destroy in the Heart of the Black Garden? With Crota dead, will his father, Oryx, seek revenge? Atheon in the Vault of Glass has been stopped - but was that reality tied to our own? What are the Vex's grand schemes for our worlds?

We'll soon break the House of Wolves. We've already dealt serious blows to the House of Winter and House of Devils.

Why are the Cabal really on Mars? What is their intention?

Rasputin has awoken. Is he really on our side? Will he fight against the Darkness?

    What IS the Darkness?

Will the Traveler ever fully heal?

    So much left to discover...

If it was on the PC, then I'd read up on it and actually consider. As a console-only game, it has always previously been a solid "no."

I got the game on PS4 and would love to have a PC version.

Oh come on it's a load of console garbage, seen a friend play it and i just could not see what all the fuss was about, looked and played just like halo. Over hyped, average at best.

Yes! Would really love to play this game more if it was PC. I'm much more comfortable with keyboard controls over controller. I'd play the shit out of this game if it was available on PC.

I love the game and would definitely re roll to play on PC. With unlimited people in the tower (not 16max) and 150 people or more in the open world. Well even with the PC being stronger maybe we will see an even bigger more "explorable world". I'm thinking this will be more available for Destiny 2.

I really don't think we'll get any real story. All we hear and see are the outlines of a story. The game only has like 12 enemy types and the rest are resized models, there isn't enough spoken dialogue to fill a single page of notebook paper, and there flat out isn't enough content to keep an mmo player hooked.

PC gamers have already been through their first few item fueled addictions and compared to most pc mmo games... Destiny's is a fair bit shallower.

Everything you said is wrong, but that's ok.

In another year when HoW (next week) and the big fall '15 release and probably another one or two xpacs are out, if there isn't a PC version this thread will come up again and be exactly the same thing.

Millions of us will still be happily enjoying Destiny.

i played the destiny beta on ps3 and did not bother buying it.

star wars battlefront will be good, bungie made a very average game 7/10.

No  why would I want to play another console conversion, we can play games that are made for PC no need to play console games at all most are sub par and a total waste of money. In my opinion console gaming has ruined the gaming industry, it's all directed toward profit rather than pleasure. The companies are turning out crap all the time and the public fall for it and its parents which have to pick up the cost in this I want society, ok there are also adults playing and paying but that adds to the problem as they keep paying the high cost for games being made. Give it ten years and we will be on GTA 25 or whatever it's all bullshit.

Ouch, that's a couple real credibility hits. First, reviewing a game that's already like a half year old, and one that you admittedly haven't played since launch and then giving it an average rating with no actual reasoning behind it. Thanks for making Joe-user (pun intended) reviewers everywhere look good.

Secondly, you're now making the assumption that Star Wars Battlefront is going to be good because???? Because the Frostbite engine is bug free? The BF4 release was so smooth? Or is it that we know so little? Oh!! And it's a time-critical release, so it can't be delayed!! What could possibly go wrong? Not saying I won't be playing it, and I'm not saying it won't be awesome, but of the features we know about, there is already a step back from the original series in some ways, so don't assume they automatically captured the essence of the original series.

So tell me how many hours of story content, new enemy character models, new gun models, and new tiny zones have they added to the game since launch?

I get that you think one has to play a game anew when the core game has changed not one iota since its open beta stage  to have an valid opinion.

just watch someone play the game for 5 minutes on twitch, and one can see all the new stuff added since launch. . .

    . . .Destiny is still a shallow, grindy, snorefest.  I give it a 3/10.

Destiny won't be as successful on PC. the reason many plays it consoles is: there is no other option and it is new to console gamers.  this is why games like Battlefield, titanfall etc, always lose players faster on PC, cause people move on to other things available.

also if these DLCs they keep adding are pay 2 play, then they won't get my money at least. Guild Wars 2 kept giving free DLCs for a long time.

    my top MMOs: UO,DAOC,WoW,GW2

most of my posts are just my opinions they are not facts,it is the same for you too.

Yeah, I have three lvl 31 characters and pretty much agree with your average rating. The first DLC was a let down ( Devs: I know, lets have them do the exact same dungeons but in reverse!.......great idea). The only parts of a MMO that Bungie nailed down were repetition, dailies and a weak plot.  Destiny is just a multi-player shooter, and as that alone; not a bad one (for me they just over hyped their game as being something it was not).   As for Star Wars Battlefront III, I have only one thing to say........"No Space Battles". The game may end up being good without them, but it already has a minus one with me because of it.

    Nailed it.

Destiny is a great game in comparison to the other shooters available on consoles, PC users will be unimpressed. If you ask me, they would be better off trying to get a Nintendo port.

I was upset that they never released it on PC.  I'm glad now that they didn't.  I've seen others play it and it looks like a generic pve shooter.  The graphics are good (would be better on PC), but the gameplay is just so repetitive, and the time it takes to do anything is way to long.  It's absolutely nothing like what they promised or showed before launch.  They were promising big open worlds...nope.  Intense massive combat...nope.  They had a great marketing campaign and cashed in on the Halo IP.  Just like Halo 5 is going to...
  • nbtscannbtscan Member UncommonPosts: 862
I'd be more apt to play it on PC than console.  I hate playing FPS games with a controller.

The short answer to your question Bill is NO. I also agree with Simsu. Also why in would we want to play another Ported game?  Simply said, they never work correctly. Doubt I would play it even if it went F2P on PC. To be clear there is plenty of games out there for everyone, so console players who enjoy Destiny are just fine. But since you asked the question I would respond again, not just no, but Hell NO.

  • PhryPhry Member LegendaryPosts: 11,004

    No.

Destiny's boat has sailed tbh, the game really isnt all that good, not sure what it would take to save it, but whatever they do, they need to add a ton of actual content to the game, for free that is, charging their current extortionate prices for content that should have been there from the beginning, is kind of fail.

But if this is really a true example of Bungies current capabilities, maybe they need to return to the basics that brought them success with Haloimage
