If they actually succeed in bringing back DFO I will be a happy gamer again. Without it my gaming experience just hasn't been the same, nothing can fill the hole that the original Darkfall left.
An AV developer even said they may bring it back. I think its a bad idea. People will play it and quit it just like before and we will have two dead versions of the game. They had a good thing going with DFUW until they started making it like DF1.0 with the combat and role changes the past 6 months. That made people quit.

That is not a darkfall Emu.
That is a standalone version of darkfall, there is no server. It's like a single player game, it can't be modified to work Live. Aventurine has acknowledged them and actively takes jabs at them not knowing what they're doing.
When did Darkfall shut down? Never heard of it in the news.
Wikipedia doesn't know about it either.
So it can't have happened. It is known.

New Dawn seems to over hauling df 1.0 much more, but has yet to give a release date, so its still to be seen what kind of numbers it will be able to retain. As of now, during the testing/overhauling stages, the pop is very low.
IMO DF had its shot to return but both companies working to revive it have missed their chances, and the old player base that came back in excitement have lost interest.
