Josh tried to throw us off by saying large race on Twitter. He must have meant large in superiority. Finally a worthy race has entered the workshop now that players have practiced thier craft on the lesser races' structures.

    Good stuff.

I weep for the builders, all those angles and curves.

I also really like the goblins concept art they showed in the show too.

I really liked the final pick for the goblins. I think it was the best of what they had came up with. I will always love the goblins from EQ1 with their crazy long arms and how they ran away like they had a dipper filled with crap. But one must move forward lol. Really hope they are not a playable race. I really love having some races as just evil, something to bind the playable races together to overcome.

They are not playable (at least not at release), they are not part of the Combine. Also, they revealed all the playable races, unless they decide to have more than 8 at release, these are the choices:

    • Dark Elf (Teir'Dal)
    • Dwarf
    • Human
    • Elf
    • Iksar
    • Kerran
    • Ogre
    • Halfling

Elf include both High and Wood elves and Human include "large" humans as shown by last SOE Live cleric preview.

Then when asked, why could they just say "No they are not playable"? LOL
