Square Enix released the FFXIV Benchmark tool, and Victor explains what it can do for those new to to benchmarking (besides just being cool to wet your Heavensward appetite for the next month).

    Numerical score? i understand that for things like 3DMark etc., but a game benchmark should give me the lowest, highest and average FPS, everything else is superfluous, and if it doesn't show FPS the benchmark part is usless.

    And if they do mean FPS...then they should actually say so. FPS is not a random numerical score.

    They give you your average FPS at the end of the benchmark.... Chill dude

    Scored at 7100 with 50 fps avg on dx11 with all settings maxed. 8350fx & 7950 3gb, far from a High end rig so this game is obviously very well optimized.

    Can't believe my score is right under a GTX970 with 2x 580 in SLI, i'm at Score 9660. :)

    Not too bad on max settings with a 6 year old PC and new vid card. 

    My step son will be getting this PC in a month once I build my new PC. This works out great for him as he plays FFXIV with a couple of his friends and his current PC (The one the came before this one) was about 4 years old when I built this PC. The game runs like poo on it.
