Hey All,
Very excited to see a game with Raph Koster working on it. I've watched some videos and reading about the game here and on other sites.
I'm still confused though. Do you play just one character? Do you control a team of 3 characters?
Can anyone give me a "Dummies" summary of this game?

You play one character, just like in most other MMOs.
Short summary of the game: Large scale faction vs. faction (or guild vs. guild) warfare on huge maps that can last a month. There's hopefully a lot of fortification building, crafting, gathering, etc. included so that the war should hopefully be strategical and not just a competition of who is the best killer.
At the end of the campaign the winner gets to take loot to his (or his guild's) instanced home called Eternal Kingdom, and use it for building, crafting and upkeep costs of that instanced home.
