KingsIsle has produced a pretty cool infographic to show off some great statistics in celebration of fifty million players joining the Spiral via Pirate101 and Wizard101. Check it out!

Have you played Wizard101 or Pirate101? Let us know in the comments!

I remember I joined when Wizard101 had just reached a million players. Look at it now. Congrats! I hope you keep growing and stay good.

Wow ! I myself am suffering from some joint stiffness and I am no spring chicken but this made me smile widely.  So happy to see older gamers.

I am happy to say I was one of the Beta Testers of Wizard 101.

Even pre release I could see it was going to be a winner - and said so at the time.

So - what made it such a winner?

IMHO it was the planning and clear goals of the developer.

    They had a concept.

    They had a market demographic.

They stuck to that vision - not trying to be everything to everyone.

They listened to the fans and Beta Testers (Beta Test was free BTW and we actually tested stuff and provided feedback) but didn't get silly about it.

Other developers could still learn a lot from this.

    Congrats KingsIsle.
