I bug from Win 7 is back. When playing video avi, youtube etc. Now an a gain the video playing back stops and there is a robotic buzzing noise. Then after 1/2 a second the video and audio play again normally. With Win 7 it took MS forever to fix that. I hope its faster fix with Win 10 lol
All linux distros are now unsafe, all desktop linux versions are affected. Ubuntu, Debian, etc.
The reason I have stopped using Linux, only use Windows now and will upgrade to 10 most likely, is the massive amounts of bugs in Linux. It's an entirely unsafe OS. People doing bank transactions through linux are crazy, especially the batch command bug should have been a wake up call how insecure Linux is.

Ghost is an old bug that was patched. It is up to admins to ensure the system is patched.

Give up on the Linux hate.
The bug is from 27 of January 2015. From yesterday.
Security company Qualys disclosed it on the 27th. It is not "an old bug". It's brand new.

I like it, only downside is that Microsoft is pushing everyone to go into the cloud with it.
I like to have my private files stored local and where I can access them whenever I want, not on some server on the other side of the world, trusting some stranger not to abuse that or let others hack into it.
And MS snooping in your files or of some organisation like NSA say we want his data on cloud.
No thanks so no windows 10 for me.
Hope to build full AMD system RYZEN/VEGA/AM4!!!

It was also not "patched", in fact the patches are barely up in the air atm, and many distros don't have a patch ready yet.
EDIT: Message deleted because I realized discussion about Linux bugs if offtopic /EDIT
Yes it has been says it in the article"The flaw was fixed on May 21 2013, but most stable and long-term distributions have been left exposed".
As of today all distributions have the patch available. it wasnt flagged as a security risk back in 2013 so not all systems applied the patch.
