Well...!

Its more fun to play forum Pew Pew than the Elite: Tedious !

I also have to admit this was a very shallow trend on this site... it trended for a day....and brought out the best in this game .... Its BIG Empty.... ness... ness ..ness !

The HATE level is weak.... and the LOVE level is terrible .....the resulting MEDIOCRATi .....all round that means very little PASSION...!~

So what do you think we will see in the next 6 months ..... To make this game more complete...!

Never played... probably never will play it.

I find that playing everything that gets released under the sun usually leads to disappointment.  So I actually choose what games to try... and interestingly enough... it's a very small list.

Of course, I haven't been to a movie theatre in over 10 years... so you can see, I'm willing to wait... you should try it sometime.

    you sir ...are a

    star!

  • I think we'll see a few features that should have been in the game from the start. The "party" system they call Wings and hopefully big improvements to the mission system, such as NPC contacts. Also a few new ships. These I think will be free content patches. Maybe they will add walking inside your ship and EVA as a paid expansion moduel, too.

This was the 1st Elite game I played, I did no research and bought it the night before launch. I watched A live stream on twitch and the guy said it was like a 1st person Eve Online. I played the game for about 3 hrs and I was board shitless. Seriously all you do is fly station to station picking and dropping things off, Or just blasting AI ships.

There is nothing in the game accept an empty shell as far as I'm concerned, How this game was labeled an MMO I will never know.

Not sure what was my worst purchase this year, Warlord of Dranor or Elite: Emptiness.

At least WoD gave you some value for the money? Or I have no idea what you expected out of it :P

We'll see some features that make multiplayer less tedious, hopefully. It likely will maintain their niche audience on a daily basis but the rest will likely dive in and out based on changes/updates etc. I still get out the flightstick about once a week and do some bounty hunting. Sometimes I play for an hour, sometimes a lot longer. It's not a game I feel compelled to play every day, but it's certainly something I'll hop into once in a while. I don't think it's reasonable to expect every game to maintain it's peak audience all the time - not in today's gaming landscape.
