On a console, you pop your disc in and play the game, tired of this stupidity of gaming companies on PC.
I want to pay a STATIC amount, so I know what it costs to play. If you can't do that, I don't play your game.
F2P can't be honest. Fine, I don't play your game then.

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Lol. That's because you already paid for the disk you're popping in and once they have your money, they don't care who you are. Besides, Sony, MS or Nintendo already have all the information they need.
F2P games don't have your money yet.

I agree 100%. I'd rather pay 15$ a month and know I'm getting the full product, then to be lured in with the free to play signs and then, once inside be advertised all the cash shop stuff and be nickle and dimed which takes away from the immersion of the game and is a rip off.
This is not just on PC however, a more recent example of this for me is Clash of Clans. Some people I know have dropped close to a thousand dollars ($1000 - yes) on this rip off just to be able to compete. It's addictive, it's unhealthy but ultimately companies know, that it works. 8 out of 10 people will go for it. Me and you are the 2 that aren't going for it, that's the bottom line. Sad.
Funny, I recall entering the same type of information for my subscription based game...
Yeah, and while we're add it, I'm pretty sure the same is true for the PSN and Xbox Live...
So basically, everything is a waste of your time...
Clearly you have time to waste... this post alone is proof of that.
QQing about online registration forms is kind if pointless since any online game will require one regardless of the business model.
The point about wanting to know ahead of time how much the game will cost is very relevant however. An ideal free2play game from the dev perspective would allow a player to theoretically spend an infinite amount of money yet never reach the power cap.
Basically f2p strives to be a never-ending black hole for your money mainly through RNG mechanics and slicing up content to nickle and dime you on everything under the sun.
Keep rocking console and stop playing pc games if you hate em so much................
Fine, we'll compromise. I'll get my way & you'll find a way to be okay with that.
.....because other video games aren't a waste of time?
They're all time wasters, it's only whether or not you can afford to waste time on them, and enjoy them, that matters.
Wait, what? We don't?
Huh, who knew?
