I really enjoy the game play when it is only PVE but the only part of the game I want to like is the PVP it's very odd. I love playing the PVE but i feel like there isn't much there other than a grind of the same 5 places, but in pvp it feels like halo, the reason I can't seem to enjoy it is the fact that it just feels like aiming and shooting are nowhere near as responsive as they should be for a competitive shooter :/

Couldn't agree more. I'm actually one of Destiny's biggest fans, but I think they've actually managed to contradict their initial mission. It was stated just prior to release that Destiny was intended to be a game that focused more on group play and social aspects over levelling, with regards to the low level cap. Awesome! That concept is actually really sound, but it falls down on a couple key points.

First, the grind that you're getting at is so hefty that the Delta between one or two levels is significant. Secondly, their persistent stance against adding group-finder tools for raids is mind-blowing, since the last 3-4 levels of progression are locked behind raids and if your friends are more advanced than you, then you're, effectively, left behind. Oh! Unless you go OUTSIDE of the game to a third party tool to find a group.

If they somehow resolve the progression issues in the game I might put some time in it. Otherwise, it'll be a pick-up-and-play game once and a while rather than something I play more consistently.

This more or less sums up how I feel. No matchmaking for raids and nightfalls just doesn't make sense to me. . Especially when you don't have a proper way of communication. I like Destiny, but it took some of the worse aspects of MMO's. *Dailies, RNG items, Mark caps*

Some of the changes they have made just don't seem like a good direction. Like the addition of Vanguard and Crucible commendations. V/C armor at Rank 2 that you can't get because you don't start getting Commendations till Rank 3. As a new player you will, more or less hit the Mark cap each week because the mark cap is too low. Yet have nothing to spend it on. It was a stupid change that was not needed. Not to mention the grinding of rank is boring as hell. Especially if it's one of the off shoots like FWC, DC, Monarchy.

Side Note: I hope what I got in mail today wasn't the token they were talking about in article. Because it was a Legendary Auto Rifle "Up for Anything" which I already had. The mods are different on it then the one I already had, but none of the mods are the ones I want. I don't even really use the one I have already as it's only have leveled, so it will probably just end up being scraped for Ascendant Energy which I don't even really need either.
