    I like the stories.

The open world is "ok". I dont' feel a lot of replayability with the quests you find. But I'm enjoying the stories and making my character.

Because it's fun, like video games should be.

For a lot more reasons than we have on this poll.

I enjoy the game.  Its not about the genre, its not about the developer, its not about the system, ect....  To me it comes down to ultimately two things.  Am I having fun playing the game and am I immersed in it.  If its a yes for both questions, then the game works for me.  The problem is, and I am sure it is for most of us, most games don't meet my criteria as simple as it is.

None of the reasons you listed. I like how the characters in the game have real meat in them. They are quite well acted and flushed out. It makes playing the game and listening to the dialogue not a chore. They have also paid a lot of attention to details and this shows in the books and plaques and various little tidbits you pick up and read. Love the randy duchess .

This makes the experience of playing like one is in a real world and the people with you are someone you want to journey and be with. I know that sounds weird but making characters big as life is really a key to bonding with a story and being interested in the outcomes and continued desire to play.

I play it because it is fun.

"Simple" as that. Bioware know how to make games fun. It isn't a single feature, or a toon or a style... it is the whole package. I may or may not like some isolated features, but the game is fun as a whole.

Something 50% of the games lacked 20 years ago. 75% lacked that 10 years ago... and almost every single game lacks it nowadays. For me gaming is all about Blizzard and Bioware. Very few good games coming from other companys. Very very few.

MMOs finally replaced social interaction, forced grouping and standing in a line while talking to eachother.

Now we have forced soloing, forced questing and everyone is the hero, without ever having to talk to anyone else. The evolution of multiplayer is here! We won,... right?
