Big layoffs/firings at the Austin studio today.

I heard today that the GM of the studio, an art manager, two designers an engineer, and the Chief Visual Officer were all let go from the Austin studio.

I hope they all land on their feet.

    Are you sure it's not about the Crytek's Austin studio layoffs one month ago? 

     

    And where exactly did you hear about this ?

    With no sources it's questionable, but it's not unusual for companies to announce record earnings and layoffs in one breath. Given that logic, Star Citizien recently reached $53 million, so it's time for layoffs..
