So far, I have tried the Logitech G930 and Turtle Beach Z300.
The G930 seems to operate on 2.4GHz and has interference issues around other wireless electronics. They also played static in my ear when there was a low-volume sound coming from any audio source. The static slowly grew louder over the life of the headset until I couldn't bear it.
The Turtle Beach headset has horrible range. I have to be sitting at my computer and even then they disconnect briefly on occasion. The ear cups also touch my ear slightly and cause pain after prolonged use.
I am leaning towards using Bluetooth. I have tried the Bluetooth interface on my Turtle Beach headset and the range is great. The only problem I have is when the microphone is being listened to by an application, the audio quality drops to a horrible level. Simply opening the Recording Devices tab does this, as well as leaving Teamspeak open.
The headphones I buy must be circumaural. Many products are incorrectly listed as being circumaural when they are not. Circumaural headphones do not touch your ears at all.
I don't need a microphone on the headset. I could buy a desktop microphone if I find some headphones I like.

The Astro A50 has some bad reviews for their poor customer service and their quality isn't as good as it should be for the price. I don't mind spending a lot of money on a good product, but it better be top-of-the-line if it is priced that way.
The other two headsets you mention don't specifically state they are compatible with PCs.
Absolutely, i've had an atrocious time finding a good PC wireless headset for years man. Nothing is up to my standards so far but I think the A50 will be the closest i just haven't had the balls to pull the trigger on it yet and get them.
