Returning to the game... how are the factions doing?

I'm creating a new character, so i thought it was a good idea to do a little research

    I agree that the "bad guys" seem to be in fashion with the angsty youngsters these days (perhaps always?) but damn the Sith Warrior storyline is good. After I am done with it, I am going to try a scoundrel, and play it dark side style. 

    Really enjoying my recent return to this game. I had written it off after launch, but out of terrible boredom, I downloaded it again recently, and am enjoying it immensely.

    There are more Empire players on my server (judging from fleet poulation), so get Rep toon for balance /grin

    There are more Imps on just about every server. You can tell by how often we wind up fighting each other in warzones. (or even by hopping over the fence and comparing planet populations)

    Welcome back you two! And both factions are doing fine. :)

    A couple of months after the game's original launch the devs actually posted about how much players liked the Empire. Well, actually I think it was during that Guild Summit with James Ohlen.

    My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

    So much more is happening on Empire side, once you go empire... you are Imp forever. I have all empire classess (2 warriors, 2 agents, 2 inquisitors and 2 bounty hunters maxed to 55. I have only Knight and Smuggler maxed on Rep side. Not complaining:) lots of gameplay  for me yet do to keep me happy LOL. I am still working on 1 more inquisitor, 1 more agent and 1 more warrior - for now LOL.

    My only maxed pubs are a Shadow and a Knight. My Trooper's been level 54 for ages, and my poor Smuggler's stuck at 50.

    On the Imp side I have at least one of each at 55, with a bunch of 30's and 40's of the same class. I'm currently working on a Juggernaut pureblood and another Merc (heal spec this time since my other BH's are all DPS and Tanks) xD

    My server lists tend to look very red, with only a blue streak here and there. :P
