Avalon Lords advertising KickStarter
So how much does it cost to advertise on this website their launching a KickStarter and they say this
"At this point, we desperately need your support to help bring this game to life!" on their website but they have the money to advertise? I know they need to get the word out and spending a little money to bring in a lot is a good idea. I am just curios what it costs to advo here.
From looking at their website the game does look very interesting.
Just to recap I am not trying to crush them just curios how much it takes to get an add here.

Hey Abimor! I'm the chief game mechanic at Animus, been up all night putting the final touches on our kickstarter stuff and saw your post. In fact, we weren't planning to advertise here but RTSguru.com did an article on us a few weeks ago and we got some nice traffic from it, so we looked into the cost of ads. Without breaking any contracts, well I can say it's pretty reasonable. Some of our team members are paying for the ad along with pretty much everything else the studio's done to get to this point. We've been pouring everything we can into Avalon Lords for the past 18 months.
I'm thrilled that you think the game looks interesting! Feel free to post questions here if you want to and we'll answer. I'm so very psyched to finally be presenting our baby to the public.

Unfortunately I'm pretty skeptic about games like these staying fun. I've played a couple of games like Tribal Wars in the past, where if you're not incredibly hardcore, join a mega alliance and crunch numbers to get the perfect building strategy you'll wind up "on farm" shortly after your newbie protection wears off.
Doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun to me. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one, as it's a cool concept, but I won't be purchasing anything until a later date when I've got more information on how things work.
(But here is a free bump anyway! :P)
