Expat - Purchasing Problems (Anyone resolved)

in Guild Wars 2

Saw the game sale and I tried to purchase it. However, I get an authorization failed every time. 

My credit card has seen no charges, so it seems that their security has stopped it for some reason. 

Last two days, I have spent trying to get them to figure it out with no avail. 

 

Any expat had success getting it to work? 

 

(Why is this the only company that doesn't want to take my money?)

    where is the sale going on? is it the official GW2 website or a third party store?

    I had problems purchasing a game once on Green man Gaming and it turned out to be that my email/account was not yet verified. When i bought GW2 ont he official website i did not have any issues so im not sure what could be wrong there. If it says aauthorization problem then maybe is it your bank not accepting it?

    Try a different browser. Sometimes I notice I cannot pay in some sites when I use Firefox,opera or chrome. Explorer works in those cases.

    It is from the official site. 

    I checked with my bank and there was no issues. 

     

    Tried the purchase with IE, Firefox, and Chrome; it did not work.

    Czech Republic I presume see here. Try adding the card first to the account  then purchase it.

    I live in Korea. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work as well. =/

    have you checked if the version of the game you are trying to purchase is not IP blocked? That is the only thing i can think of since you said you are in Asia.

    Doesn't seem to be region locked. I have friends that play the game from here. However, they bought it before they moved here.

    Try a third party site something that is reliable locally. or amazon if that is possible in Korea

    Think that's the only option with that site. 

    However, I will probably just bypass and play another game. 50% sale was tempting me to try it...

    have you checked your email?

    Sometimes they block your IP then you receive an email to allow it or not.
