Why are the SWTOR forum mods so strict?

Why does bioware lick the arses of all those who blindly praise the game? My friend just got a 3 day ban and 5 infaction points for telling Reno that "Reno is used to mediocre things" despite Reno actually saying himself he prefers mediocre things and editing his post.

The swtor forums is literally the most cancerous forum ive been on. Youll get trolled by the defenders if they dont like your opinion about the game and if you say one thing out of place, you can get banned for "belittling" them, yet the defenders still seem to post??

    is it really a surprise with an attitude like that? it's the same as on most forums.. if you've got nothing constructive to say then there's no reason for keeping the thread active. there's plenty of other threads there with constructive criticism that are still active...

    I had fun once, it was terrible.

    If you aren't going to add to a discussion in a helpful or constructive way, then your post is not wanted or needed. Once people realize this, forums tend to clean up a bit.

    but he didnt get banned for that apparently he got banned for "belittling" other players. But i bet people like Oddball and Andryah and Infern and Reno always report every post they see, even if it's not offensive just for that hope of seeing people banned. It's obviously their place to escape and belittle others because they are bullied in real life. and yes thats true, ive been told that
