Not sure why this MOBA isn't covered on MMORPG when a lot of others are but it's worth checking out. SoaDA is made by Ironclad, the guys who made Sins of a Solar Empire.
SoaDA has a bit of a darker fantasy D&D feel too it. The main things that set this title aside from other MOBAs would be the realm quests, the f2p model, and the Steam market integration.
Perhaps I should start off stating that the title is currently in Early Access. You can buy into EA for $5 ($2.50 on Steam Summer Sale). Buying the EA pack nets some nice in-game items and immediate play. The Devs are considering a level wipe on release if the community feels that it would be best for balance. You will get to keep all items in your inventory and be ahead of the learning curve if you start early. Once the game launches it will be entirely f2p.
All heroes are free and unlocked. Anything you can get from the shop aside from hero kits (an alternate loadout for a hero, not needed at all but could be handy) and keys to unlock the occasional chest can be gained from playing the game. After every match you get an item. Sometimes it's a junk item and other times it could be a mythical skin or recipe. All these items can be used to craft recipes for items or skins. If you don't feel like crafting you can always sell them on the Steam market which will add funds to your Steam account. Also, every time you level up you get a chest of goodies that does not need to be unlocked. More on loot and crafting Here.
Onto gameplay, the main things that set SoaDA apart would be the Glyphs and Realm Quests. You can get 2 glyphs each match and level them up twice each. Unlike other games you don't grab these before joining the game. Instead you are able to pick your glyphs on the fly. More on the glyphs Here.
Realm Quests are awesome. One minute you're playing a standard 3 lane MOBA and the next you could be battling the other team in a quick king of the hill match, escorting your teams chosen champion through the jungle, fighting a horde of verics, or playing a game of domination with 5 control points on the map. Both teams are fighting to complete these quests and whichever one does will receive extra gold, a buff, or a temporary item to help them out for a short while. They also do a great job of bringing the teams together for some really fun team fights.
Currently it's 50% off on the Steam Summer Sale. Early Access for only $2.50 or you can get a 4 pack for $7.50
Hope to see some new peoples in game,

out of all the nice and clean UI designs out there they had to go with the most screen obstructive..... the Dota 2 type of UI.
Boo!
Its Alpha , and will be changing
things rarely change from a live alpha
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Ive been tetsting for 18 months now.. They have made many changes to the game thru this alpha stage .. And have stated that many of the UI and front end are not complete or placeholders..
heard the story of placeholders too many times
not from Ironclad you havent. Great dev , really try to give there consuomers what they want, and take there time with there development .. Trust them completely..
followed hundreds of Devs over the years, all make promises, all have support from fanbase like youself. NONE live up to what they say
well........, ok then ..................... I suppose they should stop making games all together and players should stop supporting and playing there games .. Thx for your input .. lmao aint that rich....
nope they should keep making em, keep supporting em, and keep giving empty promises. Companies rarely use placeholders, that was all I am getting at, some dev that works there worked hard on that UI and doubt they are going to scrap it completely as a "placeholder"
But... is it PnC or WASD?
EDIT: nvm. It was dirt cheap so I picked up a 4-pack. I only needed three for the family. Who wants the fourth one?

Peace out.
I'm waiting for Hots right now but I think I'm gonna buy this game. I'm really sick of the shitty community in LoL and Dota 2...
and Dawngate, and Dragons and Titans, ect....
Will be streaming again tonight and have a few more copies to give out.
