So when can we expect this game to release like every other NORMAL RELEASE ?

Not sure what to say about this one.

I don't think it would be wise to keep the game in testing for much longer.  Everyone seems to be enjoying the alpha and that's great, but a lot of guys aren't going to like having to start over after playing for a few months.  They're also going to have a number of people who will likely burn themselves out.

The cash shop is going to be a big part of their revenue.  Some of the people that sub are going to also spend money in the cash shop, beyond any allowance they give for subbing.

It should be important for them to retain as many of the alpha testers for launch as possible, and a prolonged testing period isn't going to do that.

I expect beta around the same time the cash shop is implemented, beta to run the course of a few weekend events, and then the game to launch.  I'm guessing late July/ early August.

Played Wildstar in beta and it was in no way an interesting game. Incredibly linear, and bored me to tears. I even tested every single class just to make sure that wasn't the issue. Not a single thing excited me. Other than that - I can't even really decipher what point you're trying to make, but it seems like a feeble attempt to bash AA. Housing in AA isn't instanced. If every free player could place a house - it would be ridiculous. Then again - if you knew what you were talking about - you wouldn't say something so absurd.

Everything in this game cost labor points, goodluck with your free to play account getting anything done unless you stack them up for a week or 2 while being online :P

This is a subscription mmo at its core, if you dont pay a sub you cant even own a farm that "grows" your mats for end products.
Let me give you an example:

leatherworking - you want to craft a set - you need pelts - mobs that drop those pelts have average drop rate of 1 out of 50 ? maybe you get lucky but it was horrible to farm those pelts and not worth my time.
With a farm and a few turkeys on it i was able to get tons of pelts in a day time.

But remember free to play cant own farms / houses, so you are gimped as fack :)

Archeage for me is one of the best mmo's in a decade....
Went to the ocean and man o man........what a epic expirience.....
This is my favorite part of Archeage ! doing stuff on the oceans :)

But Archeage also has its flaws ! depending on how your vieuw on mmo's is.
Playing solo ? prepare to lose everything from tradepacks to getting your boat blown up.
This mmo is not for the solo guys, it forces you to socialise and make friends or join a good guild that got each others backs.
The game realy opens up when you do stuff together instead of trying to do stuf fon your own.
Not to mention the TONS of mats you need to start building boats / houses / and tons of other stuff.

It also has generic questing, but i quited questing at level 30 and have my own farm and leveled up by only doing farming / using my labor points ! all the way to 50 !~

Again this is not posible with a free to play account or you are looking at months and months and months works to accomplish it.

So is it worth the 150 dollar 130 euro ? aye it realy is
For me after playing another failed themepark named ESO i have a 1000 times more fun in Archeage.
To each his own taste, but this mmo offers the most epic fun and situations i ever had in an mmo.

You could also try the russian version as there are tons of guides how to connect to it.
I tried it and was sold after 1 hour, bought the alpha package and smiled all the way to 50 and beyond :P

Going off topic about the payment issue, I'm not really sure this mmo is for me.

All of the above sounds great. But I'm not a crafter. I like the idea, do as you feel, open world, PvP. But you better really like crafting, and that's one of my weak points, I'm not very big on crafting.

A little story on how I even got started with MMO's :

I played Vanilla WOW as my first, I fell in love with it.  My first experience with crafting came around level 10 and hated the time sink, so I blew it off the entire time I played with no regrets. Infact I made wayyy more money selling mats that I ever would crafting, to buy what ever I needed.....It definitely worked out better.

I'll have to think about it, because the game sounds great !....Maybe I could play the game as a harvester and sell to buy what I need to have fun......Is this game really play as you feel ?

Now crafting had come a long way since Vinilla WOW but it's still a time sink to me.

I am not big on crafting and I think ArcheAge is the most fun and epic experience of any MMO released since Everquest in 1999. I am really glad I purchased the Archeum Pack.

They can extend the "beta" period for as long as they choose, all depends how many customers they have that are willing to spend that money.

Could be a few months, could be a year.  There is no date and I applaud them for what is one of the best ways to launch an MMO I've yet seen.  How many negative players have you seen that are actually playing it?  Not many, spending money increases value in peoples minds.  They also give a game far more time to impress when they spend money.

Trion have been very clever this time.

Oh and to the person that said this ins't a free to play game due to the production points?  Everything can be changed in one patch, we've all seen p2p games change to f2p in one patch and major things changed overnight.

It worth for you and im sure for many ohers, but from me not a single euro.

I will happly pay the AA month fee and if there was a box price i didnt even think twice, but im really happy its only monthly fee, no need to spend 60 euros in 1st month.
