Huh... I kind of like the pseudo-historical caricatures. Having the guy behind the world of Dishonored explains a lot though. The make-or-break issue for me will be knowing what the actual game type is. Are we talking FPS? MOBA? Something else?
Still, I'm a fan of Antonov, so I'm a bit excited.

I hope its more of a third person action game rather than a isometric style moba. And I hope that free to play doesnt mean. he who pays the most wins the most.
He's a visual design director. He has no (official) part in determining gameplay factors like camera positioning.
