Carbine is hosting a WildStar live stream that has started and will run until 5:00 pm PST / 8:00 pm EST. You can find the live stream even on the WildStar Twitch.tv channel.
The WildStar Devs Unleashed Part 2 will be starting soon! Join us for this special 6 hour event from 11am - 5pm PDT. Over the course of the day, we will be discussing all thing WildStar, and taking questions live from all of you!

Going to watch what I can here from work, but I really hope they don't do the over exaggerated hype card again. It was nauseating watching the last one from all the bragging and back patting.
Looking forward to playing Carbine, just let your game stand on it's own two feet, don't embellish it, the game is great the way it is!

bah all they are going on about is pvp, pvp ruins all pve centric games here goes another one down the toilet
So far they just pick out the marketing-friendly questions like "will players be able to buy PvP gear???" or "can i have that boss as a housepet??" and ignore the hot topics.

Rivers have currents and hoverboards and speederbikes are awesome.
After watching the stream it looks like a goofy WoW in space but doesn't look bad at all.
Trolls abound. I would bet that most of those making negative comments haven't played the game, or haven't played enough to get a feel for what WildStar is about. Honestly though those same people will never be happy in any game because they have spent to much time in MMO's. No matter how FUN a game is, cause for me its all about the fun, they will find reasons to pick it apart due to a personal list of features that don't meet their criteria for a perfect game.
WildStar IS a very stylized game, yes just like WoW. Personally I like stylized art as it result in a world that is much more fun to explore. WildStar does not take itself seriously choosing instead to create a world that is again FUN to experience, it makes me smile and is relaxing. Combat is NOT like WoW! It is a great hybrid of traditional combat with free form action. The mixture is very gratifying. Unique classes, deep lore, great PvE and PvP, and so many different things to do. It really is a triple A MMO, so the question is WTH is everyone complaining about.
the graphics, if you want the best graphics I suggest you go outside as reality will ALWAYS look better. More sandbox, very legitimate desire, but people love theme parks. Everyone wants to escape their daily grind, that's what theme parks help you do.
The industry is slowly changing. Nearly all games are trying something different. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. GW2 did away with the trilogy, something I found lacking. Secret world required more thinking than button mashing. Defiance/FireFall are trying to make MMO FPS's. ESO tried to blend MMO with the awesome elder scrolls universe. Point is there is something there for everyone. BTW if I don't like something I don't come to the forums and B&M like some bitter jackass. I JUST DON'T PLAY IT!
I am enjoying my time in WildStar! Open beta has convinced me to pre-order, and my Esper is only level 13. The game works for me and my schedule. Is it perfect, hell no, but show me a game that is or every will be? Best part is you can try it too! You too might enjoy and appreciate the games quality.
Oh yeah, and WoW is STILL one of the highest quality games out thee. That's why EVERYTHING, including ArchaAge (LOL), gets compared to WoW. You don't like the standard then design your own game.

I love when people call a game a WOW clones just because it has a similar art style.. WOW was a clone of EQ and UO and AC1, so the list goes on... People need to get off that WOW clone kick already, or find a new hobby some of you will never be happy, so I think MMO's aren't for you..
I see this from the same people every time a new MMO comes out the same people whine, so maybe hello kitty is a better game for you?? Or maybe tennis or hey what about golf?
I dunno but some of you may need to learn how to make a game and make something you like because MMO's are not for you.
Because making animations is not easy, trying to make them real is not close to being easy that's why. Animations is one of the toughest to get right, so people need to learn to deal with it.
