    Besides looking god damn beautiful, it's great to get a sense of scale and see how open the game world is. It's really promising to see developers moving towards seamless persistent worlds instead of broken up little instances. In other words:

    It did seem like mob density was uncharacteristically low, even for a sandbox game. It'll be interesting to see how all that space ends up getting used.

    I love what I see in Black Desert... the fact that it has no due-date in the U.S. is a plus... sort of like something you know you'll never get to play but wish you could.  I'm saving a bundle just by waiting for it.  I hope it doesn't come out until 2018 or later.

    Looks great, i love the massive open world and it looks like a place i could get lost in.

    Do we have an ETA for a western release?

    Asian developers are going to bring this genre back to where it needs to be. So tired of western quest zoned theme parks.

    It has been confirmed from Pearl Abyss that they are making the English client themselves already, so 2018 is not very likely.  Both of these articles showing this was from late 2013 so the client may be close to done already.

    2018 ?!? That'll give ikcin a lot of time for more posts on here.

    Might get a bit repetitive around the end of 2016 though.....

    Yeah, 22th-23rd centuries are indeed good estimations for release. But I'd like them to wait more, I like waiting years for awesome games to be released! Especially if the game is practically done.

    There is no confirmed NA release, only that it will be much later than EU release.(good to live in EU ^-^)

    Try thinking about the fact that Russians get the game THIS YEAR...

    So maybe if people became conscious of this and that their demand doesn't meet proper attention, then the EU/US release can be pressured to happen earlier.
