Last Beta after Coldharbour you started in a faction city, you then are given the option to go back to the starter island from a NPC at the docks, they re-jigged the story so it still makes sense and then changed the leveling around the cities to noobie levels.I personally Liked it how it was before the change but at least Zenimax listened to the wingers and changed it around a bit to suit said moaners.
Thanks for the reply Can you choose which starter island, or are you bound to your own?
After Coldharbour you will spawn (sounds like a trout...) at your faction's city and there will be an NPC to direct you to your faction's starter island... unless there's been a[nother] major change.
Regardless of party affiliation. None of them care for what's best for us.
That's not fair. Plenty of politicians, from both sides, do care. Unfortunately, the way the system works means they need to make the decisions they can "sell" to people during their re-election campaigns, not the ones they actually think are good decisions. People get "bad" decisions from government because, as a whole, that's what voters ask for and deserve.
Sorry, I come from Rhode Island where we send more politicians to Federal Penitentiary per capita than any other state. So, pardon me if I'm a little jaded. However, I do agree that we have the government we deserve. We need term limits for Senators and Congressmen and we need to put the kybosh on big money lobbyists. But, I suppose that's a conversation for another forum.

Yeah, but Rhode Island is so small (no offense) that if you had only one politician, it'd be higher per capita than all of Texas minus all of our illegal immigrants (who I'm not opposed to, just to make that clear).
You can send your couple of corrupt pols to the Federal Penitentiary, but we don't have enough cell blocks...
Well, like you said, that's a conversation for some other forum.

Funny coincidence. I left Rhode Island because it's so poorly run. I know live in Dallas, TX.

I couldn't help but laugh. Best argument yet why ESO won't go F2P
Sell all the junk you picked up after spending hours in the tutorial
I never understood people's problem with the tutorial area, but I now have to ask if I had the same game as anybody else - hours? Hours of tutorial?
It only ever took 10-15 minutes tops and that's WITH listening to the dialogue, what could you possibly be doing for hours? I swear I was playing a different game.

Well it was just an example. There were people who could not progress the tutorial as it got stuck with npcs not appearing on some beta weekends as I saw from a video and there were others who cleared the tutorial areas over and over again for racial books and lockpicks after they reset.

On my first Beta character, when we could pick any type of weapon from the racks, I spent very little time (<15min) in the tutorial area. It needs to be noted that most of the containers (urns, boxes, chests) were inactivated at that time.
On my second character; after the change to the starting areas that only gave us one-handed swords as a weapon option and activated all the various containers; I spent an extended amount of time (over an hour) killing mobs and opening urns, all in the hopes of finding a bow.
I never got a bow, but I did have a full suit of heavy armor, a shield, about 100 lockpicks, and a (relatively speaking) bunch of gold. I finally got tired of trying to find a bow and left... after first falling into the hole beneath the Prophet, searching for a way out of the hole for fifteen minute or so, and then screaming (the character, not me; I was cursing) for ten minutes or so when I subsequently fell through the world. I had to log out and back in to resolve that.
So, yeah, I did spend around an hour-and-a-half in the tutorial area for that character, but it was by choice.

Spend around an hour creating my character. I´m thinking of a name but i do not have one yet
And then just enjoying every moment and every breath my character takes in Tamriel.
