When I read the title to this thread I ended it with "...is ahhh-maaaayy-ziiiing"

    yeah. It's good.

i like it very much. Was playing the lute for half an hour because i like this kind of music that much. I also find the soundtrack quite epic (yeah this word is used a bit inflationary). Just love the atmosphere in this game, every pillar of it.

There is one thing missing: OST released:-)

Seriously music was one of my biggest concerns for obvious reasons but it seems they did it right.

Made sure I adjusted volume levels to be able to hear the music better.

I just love the background music...

And the performing musicians in taverns

and one thing everyone should try, get together with a few friends and use your instrument emotes

..No. It ends up sounding SOBAD!

Eventually, it would be nice if we were able to sync up...or...better yet...play our instruments like in GW2. :D

Not really, as long as you dont do it in a tavern, with a singing bard, all the emotes will sync...  Atleast that is what happened when i tried it in beta

With Jeremy Soule composing, how can you go wrong? I LOVE the music in this game. Also, it was cool to see Malukah performing in one of the taverns in game.

I didn't know you could do that in GW2, so I'll have to give it a try.  I like the way LotRO lets people play actual tunes from midi files and even sync the tune with other players who can all play different instrument parts of the tune.

    They have great music.

I even like the music that plays on the credits (very briefly atm, since they are still using placeholder text.) It's Malukah singing this

"Social media gives legions of idiots the right to speak when they once only spoke at a bar after a glass of wine, without harming the community ... but now they have the same right to speak as a Nobel Prize winner. It's the invasion of the idiots”

I have always loved the music in the Elder Scrolls games.  I'm glad to hear (or read) that the music was done quite well.  Someone mentioned instrument emotes...  how do emotes work on consoles?  Just curious...

I do hope at some point we get a release of the OST.  Give me some calming music for the long drives I take to school.

I don't think it is Jeremy Soule unless they are using themes from past games. I think Jeremy Soule is working on EQ Next?

Also, what Tavern is Malukah performing in?

And Paul Sage’s response is one to make all fans of this long lived series rejoice:Paul Sage: “Uh…yes.”

Doesn't mean he did it all but he had a hand in it apparently.
