  I agree with those who say the chat in MMOs is highly inappropriate for a seven year old.

  As an alternative, I suggest you get him a copy of the Stick of Truth.

  Remove the chat from the UI. Its unlikely that you will want them grouping with anyone but you and kid safe guildies.

  my nephew is 2 and understands my iphone 5 better than I do. don't underestimate a kids smarts.
