What have they said about PVP?  I know there will be sieges, but will there be full owpvp?  Any loot drop?

    pvp..

     

    From what i understand.. its open world.. maybe with some sort of safe towns or zones

     

    My guess is:

     

    After seeing the latest vid i speculate that its  a territory control game.. with open world pvp.. they seem to have put alot of effort in the map and options which comes with it..

     

    A player owned caste or town.. can be highly optimized with serveral options..

    Like giving commands to npc to gather resourches.. partols/guarding and so forth..

    its more sandbox then archeage that's for sure.. and the combat is non tab target..

    I believe there is loot drops in pvp. Not sure if its full-loot though. I love how there focusing on open world pvp, the best pvp there is.

    never, black desert never will be more sandbox than archeage.

     

    archeage have much more resorces

    Partial loot is cool to..maybe anything you aren't wearing

    Just read the latest article at Massively and was pleasantly surprised. I've been following BD ever since it was first announced but never kept my hopes up regarding the PvP. Since it's a AAA game, I expected it to be PvE-centric and then just have some zoned PvP tacked on the side.

    But this is good news indeed. Finally a new AAA game with action combat and open world PvP. Sounds too good to be true! Now they just need to get a western publisher and we're good to go.

    You lose some xp and randomly drop an item from your inventory when you die from PVP.

    This.  Also, there will be safe areas.  Pearl Abyss sill hasn't decided on a punishment system for PK'ing, apparently.

    Like it all other than safezones...not a fan of safezones at all in a pvp game, unless very limited.
