EverQuest Next: Landmark: Alpha Update Includes Fixes, New Building Materials

The alpha patch notes for EverQuest Next: Landmark have been posted on the official forums. The lengthy list includes key bug fixes and the news that additional building materials have been added to the game to give players more variety in construction.

  • Procedural props will no longer spawn on your claim. If they previously did, they will be removed and free you up to manipulate your claim appropriately!

  • Fixed an exploit that would allow people to place props on other people’s claims and have them be “immune” to manipulation by the claim owner.

  • Added 8 new props! Their recipes can be found on the Copper Reinforced Saw Table, the Tin Trimmed Work Bench and the Rubicite Trimmed Work Bench.

  • Add 12 new materials to use when building! Sand, Stucco, Plaster and 9 different Sandstones are now usable in game!

Read the full notes on the EverQuest Next: Landmark forum.

Too bad they botched the patch and the new materials didn't make it in yet. They're supposedly coming in today's patch :)

They also botched the procedural props patch, but that is also coming today :)

Alpha is alpha. And this particular Alpha is a truckload of FUN!

Ahh, ok, so we weren't nuts last night. We didn't see them either. Good to know they'll be in today :)

I am loving this game. It will grow well, and opens the door for more big devs making more like it.

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can
be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.
