Perhaps King are launching this suit in the full knowledge that it will generate tons of free publicity for their flagship title. And it will generate it in places that they could never reach with normal advertising spend.
They can't be doing it for the money, as their target doesn't have any and the game they're making doesn't compete with Candy Crush at all. There has to be an ulterior motive.

Or maybe they are just blind with greed
I think he is right. Sounds like they just want to generate cheap publicity.
Many websites write articles that troll fairly hard in the hopes that the story will go viral.
If you put on the tinfoil hat and take it one step further. It might be a collaborative effort on the part of both companies. They both generate publicity and pull one over on the public.

I was actually thinking about that but I still think King is just seeing what they can get away with, I really think it's just the big bad mobile game giant trying to pick on the little guy to establish that nobody can use Candy or Saga in their titles.

You leave the good name of tinfoil and hats out of this, pal. Some of mankind's best thinking owes itself in part to Reynolds Wrap...

Me neither...I prefer Bejeweled any day of the week. Candy Crush is designed to make you want to buy more lives and things to help you beat the levels because they start to get super hard.

This truly describes how I feel about the whole thing. I do not think of Candy Crush as a saga in any way, shape, or form.
