Mythology and Philo Tomes?

in Final Fantasy XIV
I am just coming back to the game after 6 months, when the free period ended. I am 36 Arcanist, among my other jobs from 1.0. What are these tomes you get for the daily quests used for please?

    They are armour bartering tokens you get from cap (and near cap) dungeons. Philosophy tomes have no weekly cap and so you can amass them pretty quickly. They trade for item level (iLvl) 70 armour. Mythology tomes you can only get 450 a week, and trade for iLvl90 armour, so to get a full iLvl90 set through tomes will take many weeks.

    There are also dungeon drop sets. In the Crystal Tower raid iLvl80 armour drops. In the Coil raid iLvl95(?) Items drop.
