If you were a fan of ultima online, mortal online, or even runescape, this is the game for you!

What we are looking for are Beta testers, so if you want to play, visit http://www.everember.com/

Some Screenshots of the game can be found at http://i.imgur.com/bl3iQJb.png

Dang! You should change the word "oldschool" to "ancient". lol

Pretty cool, though. Wish you guys luck! I'd be interested if the combat was like the original Legend of Zelda.

Oh wow, haven't seen an Exile / Avernum style game in a long time. Interesting.

It looks like Final Fantasy IV for the snes (graphically).  I actually don't mind that.  I'm playing Dragon Quest V DS right now and it doesn't look much better, but it's still fun.  I like the old school JPRG style graphics to an extent.

i watch some vids about gameplay and graphic.

don't have any problem with 2D rpgmaker style game , but game graphic still need to improve , special in design part.

Orc sword may look better if it look like this o=[]\\\\\ , orc don't use sword look like o=}======>

or Reapers Scythe have a skull decoration.

Map design kind of mess. Too many tree make thing hard to look .

i prefer simple tree design of new RPGmaker VX , you trees are too big and block view but not work well .

With this kind of graphic , PC and NPC's name need to hide. Many name tab in same scene make UI look bad and it case uneasy .

same with damage jump , it don't need to show because it make thing look mess

Sprites kind of ... , well it not ready matter

Character need ability to run with shift rpgmaker games.

I will download it latter so i can give more option

Am I interested in playing this when it's released?  Yes, yes, and - you guessed it - yes.  Unfortunately, I don't have time to beta test, though.  Your site and screenshots look fab, and I always enjoy OG sandbox games.  Very nice going so far!

A great list of free games (mostly MMORPGs): http://www.mytop10games.com/

Sorry, it follows its own system, basically hold down ctrl, activate potions, cast abilities, fight :P

No, beta testing usually means having to fill out reports on performance, reporting bugs, making suggestions, etc.  I don't mean to speak for him, but I don't beta test for that reason, I have no time and no interest in fixing a product.  When it's finished and polished and released to the general population, I may decide to play a game, but not until.

Played: UO, EQ, WoW, DDO, SWG, AO, CoH, EvE, TR, AoC, GW, GA, Aion, Allods, lots more
Relatively Recently (Re)Played: HL2 (all), Halo (PC, all), Batman:AA; AC, ME, BS, DA, FO3, DS, Doom (all), LFD1&2, KOTOR, Portal 1&2, Blink, Elder Scrolls (all), lots more
    Now Playing: None
    Hope: None

Reminds me of Endless Online, and I loved that very underrated title. I'll take a look :)

Whenever i step outside, somebody claims to see the light
It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience.
    'cause everyone thinks they're right,
And nobody thinks that there just might
Be more than one road to our final destination--

Wait...those screen shots... is that a skill bar in a 2d world with an isometric view? isn't that like some sort of heresy?

    THX!

Voxels meets pixels (figure that one out :P).

I tease but it [edit] did look interesting (installed client).

    [Edit/Update:

This was frustrating. Your download was excruciatingly slow even with the browser extension. And, it kept closing my other tabs, trying to open other instances of itself in other windows, and spamming my to "stay on or leave page" thing. It's also did weird things like forcing your website tab to be the first tab no matter how much I changed it. And, opening my downloads in a way totally different then how I set that up to be displayed for my browser. It updated something that i didn't even know I had?

And, then I tried to register. But it said your server is down. The confirmation for...what I think is supposed to be the forum account just arrived after about a 10 minute wait. Apparently it's also game registration? Even though I am supposed register through the client...which hints that I can also register through the website?. Tried to login a bunch of times to your game. Even starting the client is a pain. I had to do it 3 times when i wanted it open before it stopped telling me to close it because I had latest installation and proceeded to the actual client... And this has ran out my patience...uninstalling. One additional suggestion: Change the Name of the game to EverError...have a nice day.]

Well, that is if you sign up for a beta for a paid product that is usually official, this is an open mmorpg beta, which MANY MANY games have that arent just gonna burn a copy on a disk and thats it... We dont require you to fill out anything except register, about it... You can submit bugs, your not forced too...

Just join, play and have fun :P

I'm a huge fan of RPG-Maker XP type of games, Mad-Father being one of my personal favorites. Worked on my own RPG-Maker project back in the day. (Good Times.)  ..also played quite a bit of Runescape. Anyway!

Could you offer a couple more details about your game, like what story will we be diving into? what is the world called- that sort of thing. (Lore) Also could you elaborate a little more on the sandbox features in the game, do you mean like building a house in a set (square) or do you freely build anything anywhere?

Id also like to know what type of Player Vs Player the game has to offer, including how extensive the crafting in the game is, that is if it offers any type of crafting at all?

    Details, Details, Details!

Do you have good customization options, how far into development are you, and when will you be releasing and opening the game? What type of payment model are you choosing? Subscription? Buy2Play? Free2Play?

Wish you the best of luck!
