Well it isn't a level based game it is a tier based game so it gives them a lot more freedom with moving assets around. There is no reason to give mobs an AI with likes and dislikes if they aren't going to use them and if they are using them they aren't staying static.

With most MMORPG I log in and see the same 10 mobs sitting there and if I kill them they just respawn over and over.

With GW2 and Rift I might see a couple different states depending on which event is actually up.

EQN in theory according to what they have said I could log in and see dozens if not hundreds of different states depending on how the mob AI has reacted to what has happened.

also, there won't be an tutorial area as it was said that new players are dropped to the actual rally call and not a starter zone that will be the same over the years.

And there wont be leveling or endgame zone, but just zones. And no Levels.

There are many old-school things from past mmos that people have to get over it to see what is planned for EQN.

They do. Called Rally Calls. If a player joins the game a year later he wont have the same content as it was avaible one year ago

EQN is vaporware at this point.

I don't think that you understand what vaporware actually means.

Yes I do. Perhaps you don't.

No you don't understand it. You are suggesting that every single game that is still in production is vaporware and that definition is simply ridiculous.

EQN is actually a game with levels and classes and blackjack and hookers.

Except EQ Next doesn't have levels.

Prob wont have blackjack or hookers either would be nice aswell if it did. WTB casinos and gambling like player made in EQ1 with /rolls

They're both "sandboxes." Landmark is ours and EQN is theirs.

It's unclear how much sandbox EQN will be.

Landmark is shaping up to be quite the sandbox right now, but most of its features aren't officially going to be moved into EQN.

As we all know from MMOs of days gone by its all speculation until you are actually in game and playing it first hand after launch.

Landmark is how SOE is going to drain the PC gamers pockets and use them to develop their world for their PS4 game. Sony is dying and its starting to tap into SOE and demand they develop for the PS4, basically ruining any chance of the game having depth or being a sandbox.

When I think of a sandbox I think of Star Wars Galaxies. Try imagining that on a console. It would be watered down to hell.

Also when I think of sandbox I imagine it being fairly demanding for performance. PS4 is incredibly pathetic system compared to modern PCs. The game would have be to be technically neutered to run on a console.

Sony is dipping their hands into SOE AGAIN and SOE is the worse for it.

I like consoles and all but consoles are for the TV. That means basic games, games that are not visually demanding, and an easy to use UI for Netflix and television. That is why I think Sony playstation is hurting this generation, they did not invest in the television.

Putting a sandbox MMO on a console is a death sentence.

Sony as a company is not doing well. I just spent 4 months in Tokyo Japan. I did not see a SINGLE sony advertisement, I did not see a SINGLE PS Vita. I saw hundreds and hundreds of Nintendo handhelds. The Japanese people say Sony is not high quality products and they do not trust Sony.

Sonys electronics division has been hurting, sales are down, quality is down, prices are still high.

Sony has not kept up in the console wars, they are falling behind in voice control, first party titles, motion controls, UI. Pre launch they had some lucky PR situations like having their DRM announcement after X1's, allowing them to renig their DRM system and get a win. But in the long run there is not much promise. Sony is desperate, reaching for every resource they have to keep the PS4 alive. That's why their hands are in SOE now and they are going to trash SOE in their attempts to keep the PS4 above water.

Regardless of your strong opinion of Sony the fact is Multiplayer/MMO titles are big in consoles now. The Crew, The Division and Destiny are just a few titles coming out that show this. Why wouldn't Sony want to use an in house developer to throw some online console titles out there? They also built the PS4 architecture much more like PC. It would be stupid of them not to want SoE putting as many titles to console as possible. That doesn't mean they are trying to suck anything out if them.

Some may not like the fact that EQN has small hotbar but I do, even if I never play it on PS4. At a certain point combat becomes a convoluted mess of macros and clicky effects. Give me intuitive combat please.
