California is on Fire...

Right now the flames are burning about 7 miles from my house, anyone else out here in Southern California seeing this? :::^D::

    Yes, I'm serious.  The flames have consumed about 280 000 acres by last night. The winds are dying down but the fire is so spread out that fire fighting forces are spread thin. We're supposed to be getting reinforcements from northern california and surrounding states, not sure if we have gotten them yet though.

    well i dont know, it seems like all the government ppl are pretty quick to evacuate someplace.

    Pff, Californians don't evacuate until we're on fire.  Or a building is falling down in top of us.  No real need to evac anyway, the fire is caught on the opposite side of a lake 7 miles from my home.

    The flames are spreading, and I can see it from my home in Santa Clarita, a lot of smoke.

    California had a lot of "flamers" before the fire... they're used to it by now. lol.

    But in reality my sympathies go out to those who died because of it, and I hope everyone else comes out of it alive and well.
