with the "intergenerational" bullshit?

 

1. it's getting old.

2. its rarely accurate.

3. it's getting old.

 

we all have our reasons for disliking the new, the old, and the recent. all this whining about younger versus older 'generation' just doesn't seem useful at all. that is unless you like giving the devs and others a good laugh: 'look! they've taken to feeding on themselves!'

    But forum PvP. It is essential to the continued and increased usage of these forums. If we restrict the reasons for engaging in it, it becomes a themepark and the user base will fizzle once they consume the content. Endgame PvP will sustain the numbers. The generation argument is merely the most recent expansion. Wait for the next one.

    It's one of the few things actually worth complain about here. This would be a much better place to visit if it had less complaining and more games.

    No the same topics come back again and again. New angles or arguments are very rare. It is mostly just venting - rarely anything thought-provoking.

    Yep been that way since I started visiting this site in 05. Same arguments then as there are now, not much has changed since then in rhetoric or topics. The only change has been which games have been in the crosshairs.
