Armada Online Alpha Test

EvStream is hosting a PvP alpha test for Armada
Online.  Here is the alpha sign up page:

Armada Online is a vast multiplayer universe packed
with great gameplay.  You take on the role of a
starship captain and wage war against a biomechanical
alien horde, known as the Armada.

Armada Online mixes the smooth and satisfying feel of
a space shooter with the long-term growth and
exploration of an rpg.

Armada Online will ship for PC at the end of 2006.
We’ll have a few rounds of beta tests, so come visit

    Checked out the site and I was quite impressed with what I saw. I have not heard of Armada or the devs up until 10mins ago, but I am now signed up for Alpha. Can't wait to give this bad boy a run. When is this Alpha going to be anyways? I want to make sure I get in ASAP.

    btw it doesnt work with firefox use IE

    Had no idea there was a firefox incompatibility--fixing...  Fixed.

    We had a lot of firefox errors.  After running a diagnostic plugin last night, it helped us spot issue and fix most of the bugs.  Alpha reg now should work properly under firefox.

    Looked and signed up, interesting concept, I look forward to seeing this game in action, hopefully it will succeed, we need a good Sci-fi MMO.

    Is this based on the dreamcast game, Armada?  If it is I will definitley buy it when it comes out.  Armada was easily one of the best games on the dreamcast.

    after reading on their forums a bit it seems to be i hope so i loved armada for dreamcast it would be a good mmo :D
