Whats the deal with the downloadable file thats the game Shadowbane?

I downloaded the 900+ meg file, and doubleclicking doesnt work. It says ZIP file in there somewhere so I tried unzipping it, and that doesnt work.
My harddrive just goes full blast, and thats the only visible effect.
Oookay. 900+meg file from fileplanet and 600+meg file from Gigex. I guess il try Gigex next.

I'm unsure how up-to-date the Gigex file is. I do work with Fileplanet quite often so they have updated versions of the full installation that can be found here:
