[Preview] SideQuest: Sexual Innuendos Right & Left

We recently had the opportunity to check out Fractal Entertainment's SideQuest, currently in very early alpha testing. Compared to Leisure Suit Larry, the game offers players a 2-D side-scrolling MMO with lots of humor. Read our preview and then head to the comments to chat.

You are provided five characters, each with two flavors that you will eventually unlock as you play through the game. The busty, giggly pink-haired girl in a pseudo nurse’s outfit and overly large boobs that bounces as she walks – yes, that bit of the paper doll moves separately.  The warrior with the mucking big sword, the archer, the erudite wizard in a robe that analyzes every situation, and the knight – who is also female but armored. In fact, the only armored character.

    Curious how a side scrolling game can be considered a MMO?  Seems to me you extended the MMO designation way too far.

    Sidescrolling MMOs have been around for years. So have 2D and text-based MMOs. There's more to MMOs than the EQ/WOW clones.
