Just tell me, how can i as a returning vanilla player enjoy all the new content on a single character...

Just want to do all the dungeons and all the raids that the game has to offer.... will it be possible to enjoy much of the old content trough the groupfinder?

Do all lower level dungeons now have an upleveled version at max level?

How about  the raids from previous Xpacks?

And then i need to do some soloing to follow the stories...   because most of them as i heared correctly have ben renewed over the years

    1. Reach max level, then either grind daily quests, spam dungeon finder/lfr or apply to the raiding guild and do the raids.

    2. You can do the dungeons as you progress, however they will be not even close as difficult as they were during vanilla/tbc times, you can forget about old raids because there is no raidfinder for them and noone is doing them anyways.

    3. No, only several are also available in heroic mode.

    4. They are irrevelant.

    5. Cata changed 1-60 quests so that's it.

    1. ..or chase achievements, stray off the beaten path a little in Pandaria and explore where you might find new things, role play, farm for tradeskill materials....really there is so much more to do in Pandaria then this post lets on.

    2. Heirlooms kind of took the challenge out of dungeon leveling but even really bad groups still whipe. My guild does old raids for old achievements and trandmog sets. It makes for a relaxing evening in Ventrilo.

    3. True

    4. Transmog sets, achievements, mounts.

    5. And for the better.

So basically lower level raid content from old expansions is available... but none ever play it anymore...

Makes me wonder why Blizzard never added a mechanic that allows them to upgrade old content to the current max level.... that would add even more diversity...

Call them classics.. and let people sign up randomly for a classic dungeon trough the lfg mechanic... It now feels like there is so much missed lost content, atleast thats how it feel to someone that loves diversity and hates doing the same thing over and over...

There's a lot of content, but it's not active by the majority of players.  The most active is for the latest expansion.  It's always been this way for WoW.

They changed classic zones in Cata, to actually make them active again, but it largely failed.  That's because Blizzard made leveling too fast, which made players outlevel the re-designed zones.  If they would actually slow leveling down, it would go a long way in helping abandoned content more active.

Epic story based quests through lower level zones, with downleveling could make those parts of the world more populated, there are simple solutions for this, most developers dont realise, and for Blizzard its actually not a high priority to make those zones alive again...

But it could be done, epic questlines with epic rewards that make you travel trough rechallenged lower level zones. Downleveling or mentoring works just perfect for this.

They're not going to slow the leveling down, they make money if folks are leveling their toons -- and WoW has you 50 toons per client (10x5 realms worth). For the average gamer it's going to take weeks to level their toon, and have 9 other toons to level, that'll keep them in the game. Because in WoW end-game is all they optimize and build things for. See any new level 20 dungeons? Does the level 20 BGs have any idea of balance with scaled down level 90 abilities? No.

End-game = can sell the next expansion.

We're just waiting for our toons to have the DK level 55 pre-levels next, to skip all the content before TBC.
