Have you been eagerly awaiting the day you could dive into the new systems and features of Age of Wushu's first expansion, Legends of Mount Hua? Well, today's the day! Players are now able to get in and try their hands at the Youyun Sixteen Area Prefectures Battle Arena, a 40 vs 40 PvP battleground, and Yanmen Pass, an 18-man instance.

Those with the urge to help out newer players will find the Martial Brothers system for mentoring helpful, while those who seek revenge on others will no doubt get use out of the Jianghu Gratitude and Revenge System. And the truly competitive of spirit can take part in the Mount Hua Competition. The new faction system and the Jianghu Heroic Playstyle and Treasure System will offer a variety of rewards.     The  trailer looks cool. Graphics are nice.  I wish it was not just all cut scene, but rather use actual game play footage in trailers.

    That is all in game/actual game footage. No cut scenes, just Ui off, with someone recording.

     

    Check this out. This has to be the best fan video of an mmorpg I've seen.

    There are better fan videos for AoW storywise - but I picked this one for translation because I feel it is the best technically and also more accessible to Western audience. 

    Unfortunately using the free subtitle tool (Aegisub) was quite cumbersome and response to video wasn't so great so I didn't post the other three parts.

    Snailgame's own cut-scenes and in-game movies for AoW were quite lacklustre in comparison - however, in the current Chinese expansion (Upheavel / Change the World) they have commisioned a new set of in-game footage movie stories  to introduce the new playable factions which are quite good.

    I posted the last half of the movie for Palace of the Moving Flowers (the part with more action)

    Age of Wushu Action Movie:  Flower Goddess vs Severed Love

    Composed and edited from actual in-game shots, this cinematic sequence made good use of location and skills of new “Prestige faction” Palace of the Moving Flowers and improved game engine in the new expansion to showcase combat in the Chinese version of AoW.

    Skill used by female character is Flower Goddess 7 (standard Palace of the Moving Flowers skill)

    Male:   Severed Love Blade (Jianghu skill)

    As always thank you Cname. Yeah, that one is epic as well. I still think I like the other one better ;) The one YOU worked on. Please when ever you come across more of these fan sagas please post them. Thank you!
