PLEASE NOTE: Manipulation of the hype-meter will result in the reset and disabling of this game's ratings. Examples of manipulation include (but are not limited to): creating multiple accounts in order to drive up the rating, developers encouraging fans to vote the rating to a specific number, and the offering of incentives for fans to vote up the rating (such as in-game rewards).
Anyone else suspect this game of foul play regarding the hype meter? Over night this game has a 9.6 hype rating, and every other of the 7 games drop by a solid point. EQN was at 8.6 yesterday. Final Fantasy XIV was at about 8.2 iirc.
Anyways, this seems a little suspicious to me. A game no one has hardly heard of, gets a rating much higher than EQN ever did (and EQN had some major hype going into the reveal).

Bungie doing a bit of hype charging. Their game wasn't high on the list and it made them mad.
. . . I don't know, but it does seem suspect, doesn't it?
You know what's fun about chaos? I do, but I won't tell.
Oh, they're perfectly okay with it..
Especially when a F2P game does something like "Hey guys, vote for our game as the best at MMORPG and we'll give rewards!" during the "Vote on the best of the year" things the site does..
Sad but true..
Yea there was probably some manipulation going on,
but who cares...the hype meter has never been an indication of anything.
