Making the remember me function actually work

As the title says, I hit remember me when i go to log in and it fails to do so when i come back.

    It works for me fine, maybe browser/add on setting?

    Not trying to defend this crappy forum software, but do make sure you have cookies enabled and you aren't in some Privacy/Incognito mode - pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be remembering you.

    Works for me on Chrome/Firefox/Safari, so as much as is broken on these forums, that part works for me at least most of the time.

    This is actually by design. Even I have to relogin. It will remember you for a certain period and then log you out.

    Really?  I haven't had to log in on this computer in well over a year.
