Bought the game for 60$ when first came out, never gave it much of a chance. I see there is 3 faction patch next week, pretty excited. Is anyone else trying game again, having fun?
I really enjoy the combat in this game and the new 20vs20 battleground for evey lvl30 and up, is plain fun.

At first the combat seemed kinda off but the more I play the more I like it. Its more action but still tactical which is very important.
Looking forward to Aug 13 for the Alliance Update/
I just recently cancelled my TERA elite status cause I just can't stomach playing it but undoubtedly, the combat is amazing. People love to complain about not being able to move through animations, etc, but that's what makes it skilled/tactical. Got to be smart when you use skills that have long animation times, etc.
AAA MMORPG's should be looking at TERA for great combat... just ignore everything else about that game haha.

As I'm waiting for FFXIV ARR (my main mmorpg) I tried few mmorpg to keep as second and out of 10 mmorpg I decided to play Tera. I'm playing currently and enjoying my time so far. It looks like free to play hasn't changed it at all I don't see any difference now or when I bought it other then the quest hub has a slightly different path now. Since I bought CE I have for any character I create a lion mount at lv 1 and a bluish weird horse and as I did the quests I received a horse from quest too, I don't really see where they get money as free to play I'm a little confused.

Heh, well the majority of the playerbase is 60, i'd say the vast majority actually and many of those 60s have been playing since release off/on some without breaks and they buy a lot of cosmetics, also all cosmetics are able to be sold on the broker so people buy them for real money and sell them for in-game gold.
EME also has a few thousand elite subscribers for sure.

Eh, you'll find a lot of the game is actually pretty dark once you get to higher levels. The majority of the 58-60 dungeons are set in very dark and grim atmospheres.
For example, Labyrinth of Terror final boss has humans nailed to crosses squirming all around the room,
But like all Korean games it has no direction, you have medieval, futuristic, cartoony, realistic, dark, happy, downright ridiculous, anything that pops into their head goes into their games.

Well Killian server is overpopulated. Next comes Balder where I am (at least from the pvp side). There might come a merger of Balder and 2 more serves and become a big server like Killian. Your choice where you want to go...

Same here. Bought the CE when game comes out, play it for a week or 2.
Only back when it becomes F2P.
I dont know why, but the more i play it more i like the combat and the rest.
Im even enjoy instance pvp atm, something that usally is not my thing.
About next patch? Well, i prefer to wait and see.
