So we know at least some of the races by now.

Out of the known ones, which would you pick?

(I used EQNext wikia for help)

(also, shissar couldn't fit on the list, if you pick that one, sorry no room, lol)

    I chose Gnome, I like to midget toss.

    What everyone else will be playing of course. That would be any race where I can play a Rogue, Caster/Rogue, Healer/Rogue, Ranger/Rogue, Tank/Rogue, etc... Gotta love diversity!

    I was hoping to play an Val Shir/Kerra but looking at them i will go Iksar Beastlord if possible.

    If I get this mmorpg I'd play an Ogre. Which is pretty unusual for me but I really like the way they look in EQ.

    I don't think they are confirmed yet, it wasn't on the Wikia list either.

    For now I pick Elf but when I see actual pictures of all the races in game I might change to gnome.

    At first my initial reaction was I didn't like the art style and was not going to play the game but since seeing some more vids it was apparent it was the lion which was an eyesore (IMO).  That thing needs taking around the back and given both barrels of a shotgun.  Also the game is most likely going to be FTP so I have nothing to lose if I try the game and I am interested in some of the concepts put foward.

    To answer the OP's question I'll most likely roll a human.  I played the elven races in EQ but don't go much on the concept art I've seen so far for EQN.  I'll miss rolling a Dark Elf Necro but the added horns for me are a big turn off.

    Well hopefully Half-elves will make it, they have always been in EQ so I don't see why they wouldn't add them. Also, no mention of Wood Elves either :/

    I will likely try a few different races, especially to experience both the good and evil aspects as I did in EQ1.
