Completely funded by and developed for the fans. They put every dime into the game so that in fact they have no marketing budget ;) So here is my 2 bits to help out. If you are a fan of the pen and paper then this should be right up your alley. There will also be a mission builder so you can build missions for you and your friends to play through together.

This was one of the first Kickstarter projects that I backed.  They've done fairly well in keeping people up to date with their progress since then.  By the looks of it, I'd say it turned out pretty good and the level editor is something I want to sink my teeth into.

The original kickstarter video they made to promote it was fairly entertaining as well.

Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

I've been playing this a bit today and its been pretty good so far.  Kind of a cross between Neverwinter Nights and XCom.  The modding tools seem like they can add a lot of value to the game in the future with community made mods.

From what I've been reading it's a good game with mediocre at best graphics and a very short campaign especially for an RPG.Graphics can be forgiven given it;s budget and the core systems look sound.

I'm in a catch 22 with this game.I don't think it's worth my $20 right now but will definitely be with a big enough community producing quality mods for it,but if everyone holds of buying waiting for that it may never happen lol.

Been thinking about this title.  Never played anything Shadowrun related before.  But this is an RPG with a touch of isometric play gives it the old school vibe.  Which is just fine to me.

"I have only two out of my company and 20 out of some other company. We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire and a constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left and only a few on my right. I will hold." I fully agree is definitely a title to be approved.

It was also a fun RPG on 16-bit consoles.  Still fun to play.  What's not to like .. prison breakouts, corporate office raids, cyberspace hacking, the mafia, corrupt police ..

I think some big-wig chummers should have made it into an MMORPG  .. imagine completing a raid not for some shiny new armor, but for a software upgrade or a new cyberdeck ...
